Django import-export adding _x000D_ when importing content in RichTextField

I am using django-import-export library to handle import and export in my app. The problem is that in my body field I am using CKEditor RichTextField and every time I want to import the content from xlsx, yaml or json I see a lot of _x000D_ instead of empty lines.

I've read in the documentation that I could use post_import signal to add some custom login when importing but I am not sure how to add regex that will delete all instances of _x000D_ from my content.

How can I fix this issue?
